Hello. My name is Tammy Merkens and welcome to my home bakery! I’m a registered Cottage Food Producer in Minnesota, and I couldn’t be more excited to share my baked goods with you.

As the bakery name implies, I’m a nurse. In 2023, I made the difficult decision to step away from healthcare to prioritize my mental health. Nursing has always been a passion of mine, but sometimes taking care of others means learning to take care of yourself first.

In that season of change, I found comfort in baking. After watching countless talented home bakers on TikTok, I decided to jump in — taking cake-decorating classes and rediscovering a sense of joy and creativity. And now… here we are!

I’m passionate about baking, decorating, and delivering delicious treats — cakes, cupcakes, cookies, old-fashioned doughnuts (my best selling item), and more.
